From Lyengar to Dynamic Vinyasa, at Nordic Balance, we offer a range of styles of yoga, taught either in a small class format or 1-2-1 all of which take place in our studio, lovingly called The Moose Room.
Our teachers are all immensely experienced, having practised for a minimum of 5 years and taught in a range of environments. We pride ourselves on supplying a very engaged, first-hand style of yoga. This means that our teachers will be hands-on, giving you the attention that you need to progress in your practise and your understanding of yogic techniques.

Jelka is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of yoga. Gaining her professional certificate from the Iyengar Yoga Association UK in 2009, she has been teaching ever since. She is always looking for new ways to share yoga with her students so that they too can enjoy the many benefits of this wonderful practice. In 2008 I trained at Yoga Trinity, Australia as a hatha yoga teacher. From there I assisted in Power, Dynamic, Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga classes and started to teach my own style of yoga fusing different aspects of different techniques. I found out through injury as a professional dancer, the need to develop muscles surrounding the joints.
