Our Head Trainer and Nutritionist

From a young age Simon has always had a passion for sport and fitness. He’s played a range of sports at a competitive level including football, swimming, volleyball and athletics.

Motivated and enthusiastic, Simon thrives on assisting people to reach their targets, drawing on the many years of experience he has in the industry. Since receiving his diploma in personal training, sports massage therapy and Nutrition he has continued his studies and consider himself a student of sports and nutritional science and human movement. He’s constantly learning new theories and practices that he can apply with his clients. There is always something new to learn and he enjoys reading and researching old and new methods and theories.

During his time in the industry Simon worked with a broad range of clients to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. These include weight loss, strength increase, injury recovery and muscle gain. He works with clients that compete at a range of sports including football, rugby, athletics, triathlons, marathons, ultra-marathons and boxing, to which he applies a very sports specific approach. Simon is ABAE qualified in boxing coaching and FA qualified in football coaching. Using these qualifications, he’s coached in schools and in the local community as part of an initiative to promote social inclusion through sport.

Simon joined Nordic Balance in 2009. “Whilst here I have been privileged to have trained with some amazing people and have been exposed to many of life’s lessons from them. In turn I’m confident I continue to help my clients on the road to leading a happier and healthier life.”
