
Boxing
In our group sessions and classes we work using gloves and focus pads to work on all of the boxing techniques used in the ring. These classes, to suit people from beginner to advanced level, will help you gain the fitness level and skills needed to create those high number combinations that you see the professionals using.
Boxing as a sport can benefit you in a number of ways, from increased cardio vascular fitness, to improved co-ordination, increased confidence, de-stressing, proprioceptive gains and improved core function. It is a great way to get fit whilst learning a new skill.
The techniques used in these fun and varied sessions include correct stance and guard, footwork, basic to advanced punch combinations, defence and correct use of focus pads.
